As part of our positive behaviour strategies St Patrick's pupils are divided into 4 houses - Broomhill, Whinhill, Lyle Hill and Prospecthill.  These names were chosen by the pupils and staff.  Each house is represented by a  different colour and children can earn points for their house in various ways both in and out of school.

Each week the points are counted and, at assembly,  children are told the scores to date.  At the end of each term the winners have their colour tied to the Barbara McGeehan Trophy which is on display at the front of the school and will be rewarded by a 'fun afternoon' in the gym hall.  Here are some of the activities the winning house can look forward to during their 'fun afternoon'.

  • Golf
  • Spacehoppers
  • 10 pin Bowling
  • Curling
  • Skipping
  • Agility Ladder
  • Football skills
  • Tennis
  • Frisbees
  • Hoola hoops
  • tunnels

Prospecthill had great fun at their activity afternoon.  They were the winners last term but are hoping to build on their success and win again!
